Module Two Complete
All Finished!! Yay!!
I hope like me you are now all feeling a sense of accomplishment?
Yet again this has been a busy term for me, particularly with work, my beautiful three year old and contending with the early stages of pregnancy. Despite all of this though, I feel that I have learnt a lot during this module and have fully embraced the university life.
I was fortunate enough to not have any administrative difficulties starting this module and therefore was active from week one. I was able to attend all of the Skype sessions available to me and feel that these really "opened my eyes" to options and ideas beyond my usual realm of thinking. I have never been particularly adept at thinking "out of the box" and had my eyes metaphorically opened by the wealth of knowledge that I was privy too. I have found the discussions between the tutors and my peers so insightful and varied that I have been able to explore options that would not have normally been in the forefront of my mind.
I was also fortunate to have been able to attend the university sessions, and for me, being able to talk to people face to face was invaluable. It was also, a privilege to meet others at various stages of the course and to be able to share ideas as well as discuss various aspects of our different practices.
Overall, I feel that this module has really helped me assess my practice and to fully focus and understand the aspects of it that I think I need to develop and improve. Aspects of which I am looking forward to developing during module three.
Have a lovely Christmas one and all and I look forward to undertaking the final module with you all.
Happy New Year

Hi Beverley
ReplyDeleteI was one of the students on the First Skype session and have added my comments on my blog.
I am also on Module 3 and have chosen my Inquiry Proposal and realise how quickly the 12 weeks will go.
I'm thinking 4 weeks for research and questions/survey given to participants and then 4 weeks for responses and second interviews.
Final 4 weeks working through and sorting the data.
Any thoughts?
Amanda
